Two or three times many years back a few of us rented a cabin for a week on a lake in Northome....a very little town up state route 71 north of Bemidji. Were you from anywhere up around there?

One night a couple of us got so drunk in Northome we went into the little fire department and started the fire truck and drove it around town...got in big trouble.

Did you ever go to Trout Haven near Bemidji? My brothers and I went out on the pier that was about 200 feet long out into the lake. We found buckets of corn and started throwing the corn in the lake and fish would just jump at the corn as soon as it hit the water. Talk about shooting ducks. It was a stocked lake.

Well some guy started yelling at us not to throw corn in the lake. Yeah, like we were going to get all those fish full of corn so the tourists couldn't catch any.
